At Sheffield Forgemasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our team.
This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield. Our Finance department plays a crucial role in ensuring the organisation’s financial health, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. Covering everything from day-to-day financial operations to long-term financial planning & analysis, including the delivery of our recapitalisation programme.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will work with the Sales Director and Sales Team to provide financial support on future orders, ensuring tenders are priced accurately, transparently, and ethically. Manage the commercial rate deck, keeping rates up to date and aligned with the company’s goal of commercial sustainability.

ABOUT YOU

  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualification or equivalent.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Previous business partnering experience.
  • Financial Modelling experience.
  • Experience using PowerBI is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.

Responsibilities
  • Owning, updating and reviewing the Commercial Rate Deck.
  • Support the production of quotes including the reviewing and checking of financial information submission.
  • Attending Sales meetings and providing financial oversight.
  • Supporting with the preparation of order book inputs for budget and forecasts.
  • Tracking orders won and quotes against actuals to ensure business objectives are met to support commercial sustainability.
  • Highlighting any potential shortfalls in budget or forecasts for set periods of time.
  • Providing financial reports and analysis.
