An exciting opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified management accountant to join SGS College’s Finance Planning, Partnering and Reporting team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• To support and provide information and advice to budget holders and administrators, working with them proactively to help improve financial performance, effectiveness and control.
• To prepare the monthly management accounts for own curriculum areas of responsibility, including in-year forecasts, monthly accounting adjustments, pay forecasts, track capital spend and prepare commentary, liaising closely with the Head of Financial Planning, Partnering and Reporting.
• To play an active role in the preparation of the College Budget / 3-year Financial Plan, in particular taking responsibility for the income and expenditure budgets, whilst understanding Curriculum plans, for own areas of responsibility
