Overview We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team based in Chawston. You will be a strategic and analytical advisor to the Commercial department, providing financial insight, robust analysis, and proactive support to drive commercial performance. • Up to £60k doe What you'll be doing This role blends technical accounting expertise with strong business partnering skills, ensuring financial integrity while enabling data driven decision making. The successful candidate will play a key role in systems development, project delivery, and supporting M&A activity from due diligence through to post acquisition integration. Responsibilities • Provide insightful analysis on revenue, margin, profitability, and through KPIs. • Liaise with operational teams on financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Deliver and enhance accurate and timely financial reporting and variance analysis. • Run detailed statistical analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. • Support the Financial Controller with month end close, budgeting, and long term planning. • Ensure financial information is technically sound and compliant with relevant accounting standards. • Lead and support cross functional projects, including process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives. • Drive system integration and optimisation, ensuring finance tools and data flows are robust, automated, and scalable. • Support integration planning and execution, ensuring smooth transition of financial processes, controls, and reporting. Who we’re looking for • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).• Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to interpret and apply standards.• Highly analytical with experience running statistical and financial models.• Strong systems skills and experience in system integration or transformation projects.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders.
