Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will build strategic relationships and develop a deep commercial understanding of the business plans and priorities for the Operational portfolio you support.
You will contribute to and drive business goals through the provision of strategic and consultative financial services, influencing key stakeholders while building commercial acumen across the business.

The main responsibilities of this role include..

  • Support the Leadership team in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycle, providing sufficient challenge to ensure the budget outputs are challenging yet realistic and achievable
  • Drive business knowledge and external market insights into the development of business unit and site based strategies
  • Prepare and/or review of the monthly performance packs for your portfolio providing insights to the leadership team of financial metrics, business drivers and all aspects affecting business and financial performance
  • Monitor actual results against budget and forecasts, undertake analysis to identify issues and recommend possible corrective actions where appropriate
