Job Description Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for supporting with pulling together the budgets and forecast models and uploading them to the Finance Planning system. You will be responsible for tracking the monthly reporting of actual spend for support functions against the relevant Budgets and forecasts, together with supporting and constructively challenging spend across the business. The role will also govern the capital investments, ensuring they are documented and the progress of these is tracked periodically. Responsibilities Monthly reporting: Maintain month-end reporting packs (roll forward monthly and provide analysis and insight against the latest budget/forecast) Work with accounting teams to ensure accuracy of the month-end results - calculating accruals for opex and capex Produce insightful commentary for the monthly variance analysis against the forecast Maintain a strong relationship with operations and advise them on finances - breakdown of costs against budgets Provide detailed and accurate monthly staffing vs. budget per department to help with recruitment decisions Budgeting and Forecasting: Work with the business to understand commercial requirements, support, and constructively challenge decision-making Own the input and upload of budgets and forecasts in NSPB Maintain key insights on drivers of spend in various budget lines Analysis of variances against comparators such as prior year and previous forecasts - produce variance bridge and waterfalls Record and track KPI measures underpinning the budget assumptions Investment KPI tracking Track and record investments, ROI and govern the approval process Work with the business to understand and record the impact on KPIs Procurement tools tracking Support the procurement team by maintaining a group-wide log of all 3rd party tools Work with tool owners to understandthe commercial requirements of the tool, together with volumetrics where appropriate Support the procurement team through the application of insight and data to support the procurement process Be fthe irst point of approval for 3rd party spend Other responsibilities Track procurement renewals against the budget PO checks and approvals Participate in standardising and automating reporting packs Qualifications A self-motivated person who is willing to get involved and work as a valued member of the finance team Experience working with non-finance professionals Part Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) 3 years PQE Desire to be part of a growing business and working hard to achieve the company’s growth plans Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment Able to work to tight deadline as well as under pressure Strong communications skills Comfortable in a non-hierarchal environment and a genuine team player Experienced and diligent worker with a good eye for detail and enquiring mind Strong systems competence, previous experience with NetSuite is desirable Strong Excel modelling skills , Word and Powerpoint Shift Timings: 2 Days Work From Office from 9am IST to 6pm IST 3 Days Work From Home from 9am BST/ GMT to 6pm BST/ GMT to support collaboration with the UK Team.
