Description
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Through Life Support (TLS) team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance – TLS Projects, this new role will see you partner closely with project managers, engineering teams, and commercial leaders to provide high-quality financial insights, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making across a diverse portfolio of operational contracts, projects, and major initiatives including AssetIQ and ETCS Level 2. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence outcomes, improve financial frameworks, and contribute to the delivery of sustainable projects. Some accountabilities will include: •    Leading the development of annual budgets and business plans across TLS operations, engineering and project portfolios •    Maintaining rolling forecasts and project-level financial models •    Analysing trends, risks and opportunities to support proactive decision making •    Production of financial performance reporting •    Collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders including engineering, operations, finance and commercial teams •    Producing pricing for TLS commercial opportunities and major project bids, as well as assisting with improving standardised pricing models This is a fulltime, permanent role, based onsite in our Melbourne CBD office. About You: •    5+ years demonstrated experience in financial accounting, management accounting or similar finance role •    Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent related field (CPA advantageous) •    Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence within a complex environment •    Demonstrated capability in commercially reviewing, analysing and preparing project performance reports, forecasts, budgets and costing models. •    Strong technical accounting knowledge, including AASB standards and financial systems (e.g. OneStream, JDEGS). •    Proven ability to analyse and interpret financial data, assess risks, and identify corrective actions.
