REQUIREMENTS:

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant with experience in a large manufacturing environment
• Proven track record in business partnering with operational teams, especially around manufacturing performance metrics and cost control
• Strong background in project and/or overhead cost management in a manufacturing setting
• ERP experience (knowledge of SAP an advantage)

THE FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER ROLE

As Finance Business Partner, you’ll work closely with both finance and operational teams to support the achievement of annual business targets. This is a varied and hands-on role, encompassing cost management, business planning, budgeting and forecasting, investment appraisal, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
The company is currently implementing a major ERP upgrade, and you’ll play an active role in supporting this transition within your area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take financial ownership of specific projects, providing insight and guidance to stakeholders
• Deliver accurate and timely management information, with a focus on cost analysis and control
• Manage overhead budgets for assigned departments
• Contribute to the successful implementation of the new ERP system
