Your Day-to-Day Directing everyday financial activity and empowering your team to deliver in their roles Setting exceptional accounting practice standards and ensuring financial control procedures remain ethical and legal Maximising financial returns through financial analysis, data trends and market information – while budgeting accordingly Enhancing the guest experience through improved payment options, inventory controls and financial dispute resolution Supervising several clerical accounting employees across a range of functions – from Accounts Payable to Purchasing and Payroll. Preparing financial analysis, forecasts, and budgets – as well as reviewing rates and taking part in sales strategy meetings What We Need from You ● Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting and Finance ● 4-8 years’ experience in hotel accounting or auditing with at least one year in an Assistant Controller or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience ● Knowledge of accounting management duties e.g., negotiating hotel space and tenant leases, processing payroll, performing asset management duties, providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparing government reports, filing tax returns etc ● Professional accounting or finance designation or certification preferred . Responsibilities

The manager will direct daily financial activities, establish high accounting standards, and ensure all financial controls are ethical and legal. Responsibilities also include maximizing financial returns through analysis, budgeting, and enhancing guest experience via financial improvements.
