QUALIFICATIONS:

GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts payable, or administrative support role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy mailbox and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience liaising with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with financial systems is an advantage.
Responsibilities

WHAT’S INVOLVED WITH THIS ROLE:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Business Support Officer to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and financial processing skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and manage the finance team’s mailbox, ensuring timely responses and escalation where necessary.
  • Process invoices and payments in line with internal procedures and financial controls.
  • Chase external providers and suppliers for outstanding invoices and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and logs.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance and business support teams.
