Description Finance Cashier - Part Time Weekdays Urbandale, IA Schedule: We are looking for part time help during the week - Monday through Friday. Pay: $17 to start Growth: Opportunity to grow within the department. Job Duties: The Finance Cashier plays a key part in our Front Office team and a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Engaging with customers, completing transactions, answering questions, and ensuring every interaction is positive and memorable. Key Responsibilities: Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate totals, and accept payments (cash, credit, debit, financing). Manage Cash: Balance drawers, make change, and handle cash accurately. Customer Support: Answer billing questions, resolve issues, and provide friendly service. Promotions & Upselling: Share current promotions, warranties, and product bundles with customers. Pick-Ups & Calls: Assist customers with in-store pickups and answer incoming calls professionally. Maintain Your Space: Keep checkout areas organized, clean, and inviting. Qualifications: Enthusiastic, friendly, and team-oriented Strong communicator and problem solver Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment Detail-oriented with solid math and cash-handling skills Familiar with POS systems and basic computer operations Education/Work Experience: High School or GED Cashiering, cash handling, or transactional experience required Phone or Call Center experience preferred Physical Expectations: Stand or sit for long periods of time Environmental Conditions: Will work indoors Conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, dusty surroundings and noisy work environment
