SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Clerk to join our team. As the Finance Clerk at Anderson Therapy Services (ATS), you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain compliance with financial policies and support informed decision-making. Your role will help ensure ATS remains fiscally responsible

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely reporting of discrepancies.
  • Assist with payroll processing in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, contracts, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Generate regular financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data entry and tracking.
  • Assist with office-related duties such as supporting front office, organizing mail, and ordering office supplies.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Support the finance team with various ad-hoc financial projects.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA or CPC designation (desirable)
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid grasp of financial concepts and reporting.
  • Experience with payroll management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be local to Hamilton/Dundas area as this role is in person.
