Description

OVERVIEW

The role involves providing support in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including data processing, verification, and approval management in coordination with departmental managers. Responsibilities include assisting with the setup and maintenance of vendor and customer accounts, handling credit applications, verifying information changes, and performing regular account updates. The position also provides support to the Director of Finance and Controller with special projects, budget reports, cost reports, and financial statements as needed. Additionally, the individual will assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, provide regular and ad-hoc reporting, and perform various clerical duties such as word processing, filing, and photocopying. EXPERIENCE

· Grade 12 or equivalent required.
· College diploma in Finance or Accounting or BA in Finance or Accounting considered an asset.
· Strong communication and organizational skills required.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Prior experience and knowledge of programs are considered an asset.
· Trinity specific on-the-job training may be provided.
· Must have awareness of and experience with technologies such as laptops, iPads and cellphones. Knowledge specifically in Office 365 applications required. Financial positions use various programs and systems on a regular basis.
· Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting programs required.
· Ability to identify and contribute towards business improvements and efficiencies required.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
