FINANCE CONTROLLER

Full-Time | Hybrid (Alexandria Hub & WFH) | Option for 4-Day Week
Reports to: CEO
Location: Alexandria, Sydney (ideally 3–4 days in-office, 1–2 days WFH)

ABOUT YOU – SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; CA/CPA preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in financial accounting, preferably in a finance-controller role
  • Experience in not-for-profit, NDIS or SCHADS-funded organisations highly desirable
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge: AAS, BAS, FBT, payroll, NDIS compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and high level Excel/Power BI skills
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to work with external stakeholders, auditors, and cross-functional teams

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a newly created and pivotal role within Co-Hive, designed to support our continued growth and ensure financial stability across our expanding operations. As our first dedicated Finance Controller, you’ll have the opportunity to build financial processes from the ground up, introduce efficiencies, and lead all aspects of compliance, reporting, and strategic budgeting.
You will work closely with leadership to align financial management with Co-Hive’s mission and NDIS funding structures, helping us scale responsibly while staying true to our values.
