JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of a manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and maintaining financial controls, ensuring all accounting practices meet compliance standards. The position requires a hands-on leader with experience in both U.S. and Mexico financial operations and strong knowledge of SAP.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial statements
  • Manage and maintain cash flow statements
  • Lead the annual sales forecasting process
  • Develop and monitor monthly budgets
  • Oversee annual financial audits
  • Supervise core payroll processing and ensure corporate payroll tax compliance
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR) processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure corporate income tax compliance
  • Monitor and ensure acceptable inventory turns and oversee annual physical inventory
  • Establish and maintain robust systems and internal controls to verify the integrity of data and processes
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to the CEO and Board to support strategic decision-making
  • Maintain effective communication with co-workers, management, clients, and customers
  • Oversee and reconcile petty cash
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with both U.S. and Mexico financials
  • Proficiency with SAP ERP systems
