Let's introduce ourselves What you'll do The Product Finance Controller reports to Head of controlling, R&D and Product APAC, and supports the R&D Unit Head/Product Manager by providing financial control/analysis of both product and operational cost within the unit. Detailed below are the major responsibilities Control product cost (Material cost, Tooling, and Engineering) within one R&D unit, including Bill of Material cost maintenance and update in the system. Control unit operational spending, including monthly actual vs. forecast, and yearly business plan.  Work with R&D product stream by providing the financial support, including benchmark, business case, sourcing target setting and cost change management.  Support Program Business Controllers to develop finance approval report for VCC program milestone reviews. Assist R&D product team in making vehicle design decisions that support the team in achieving their variable cost and investment targets. Provide financial information and presentations to Product Managers on financial status of the product stream. (Performance against variable cost and investment) Collaborate with global R&D finance controllers with regards to China R&D cost report and product cost decision alignment on a regular basis.  Develop principles, processes, and tools to improve cost control. What you'll bring Bachelors degree in finance, business administration (or similar), engineering is a plus6-8 years of related working experience in Finance controllingUnderstanding of Finance's role in Product Development processes.Strong business acumen and analytical skills Proficiency in understanding and interpreting financial information and communicating the information in a clear and concise way.        Possess leadership skills in areas of integrity, courage, motivation, teamwork, and communication.    Strong team player, an ability to work well with others, and to deliver on commitmentsFluent in EnglishAdvanced Excel Skills
