Job Description The Finance & Controlling Analyst supports monthly closings and quarterly/annual planning cycles, reporting to the Director of Finance & Controlling UIS. The role covers controlling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and internal control activities across UIS and its global subsidiaries. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, contribute to process improvements, and leverage ERP systems, Power BI, and automation tools. Close collaboration with Controlling Leads in subsidiaries and finance teams at Umdasch Group (UIS and Doka) is essential. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a structured working style, and experience in multinational environments—ideally within construction, scaffolding, or industrial sectors. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) & Performance Management Review and support the preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including gross margin, intercompany margins, cost controls, and inventory/stock levels. Provide analytical insights to support decision-making. Financial Reporting Generate and archive financial information Prepare and review timely and accurate financial reports for management and key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and applicable regulations. Support and contribute to the optimization of financial processes, leveraging ERP systems, Power BI dashboards, automation, and AI-driven insights where applicable. Cross-Functional & International Collaboration Work closely with Head and VP of Controlling in subsidiaries to ensure alignment on processes, standards, and reporting deadlines. Coordinate activities with finance and controlling teams at Headquarters (Umdasch Group and Doka) to ensure consistency and best-practice sharing. Provide training, guidance, and support to local finance teams across regions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of professional experience in finance and controlling, ideally within a multinational organization. Experience in construction, scaffolding, or industrial sectors is a strong advantage. Solid experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor Kinetic, Discos, Quantify). Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus. Strong analytical mindset, structured working style, and problem-solving capability. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international environment. Languages: Fluent in English and German (spoken and written), Spanish or Portuguese is a plus. The minimum annual gross salary under the applicable collective agreement for employees in the trade sector (KV Handel) is € 40.306,-.
