Job Summary
Under general direction, the Finance Administrator partners closely with the Finance Manager to maintain the financial operations and processing needs of the business. Responsible for finance and accounting reports, sales production reports and commissions tracking and processing. They will submit agent payment requests through Accounts Payable, including employee reimbursement requests. Responsible for providing general accounting and budgeting functions.
Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the compilation of weekly production reports.
  • Maintain production tracking reports for our affiliates and downline partners.
  • Access carrier compensation information; weekly commission statements, occasional commission schedule sheets.
  • Assist with general accounting and budgeting functions as it relates to commission income and commission expenses.
  • Submit employee reimbursement requests through expense management system.
  • Submit agent payment request templates through Accounts Payable.
  • Be responsible for the daily preparation and posting of both sales invoices (AR) and purchase invoices (AP).
  • Set up and review payments, ensuring timely invoicing of customers and active credit control.
  • Maintain and submit monthly corporate credit statements.
  • Assist with generating weekly reminders and monthly customer statements and work with the sales team to resolve payment issues.
  • Collaborate with teams on deals to ensure completeness of documentation and adherence to company financial controls.
  • Additional duties/responsibilities as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skillsets, Abilities

  • Knowledge of the Insurance and Financial Services Industry
  • Understanding of general accounting practices and principals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring work is thorough and accurate.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and time efficiently.
  • Verbal and written communications skills.

Experience & Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Highschool diploma
