Description Our client, Occupational Services, Inc. (OSI) is currently seeking a full-time Finance Coordinator to work onsite at their Chambersburg, PA facility. The Finance Coordinator plays a critical role in strengthening OSI’s financial operations to advance their mission. In addition, this role offers a unique training and succession opportunity. You will collaborate with the current Finance Manager, who will remain with OSI for a limited time, to develop the competencies that may support future transition into the position based on organizational needs and your readiness. Key responsibilities include the following: Manage all Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and aging. Prepare and submit billing for county- and state-funded services Process deposits, monitor bank activity, and track restricted and unrestricted funds Reconcile billing systems and support revenue reporting and compliance Maintain general ledger accuracy, asset documentation, and depreciation schedules Assist with month-end close, audit preparation, and financial reports Work directly with external CPA on annual audit Partner closely with the Director of Finance and support cross-department collaboration What Success Looks Like in the First Year: Accounts receivables are accurate, timely, and well-documented County and state billing is processed correctly and on schedule Financial data is audit-ready and aligned with nonprofit best practices Internal departments trust finance processes and reporting Confidently expanding skills in preparation for greater responsibility Requirements Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent experience 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience. Nonprofit experience a plus. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger processes High proficiency in Excel, Word, and accounting software Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Analytical mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Why should you join OSI?
