JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Coordinator to join the Consumer’s Beverages team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordination and administration of the company’s financial records, systems and processes such as accounting, banking, insurance and all related financial and office administration.

PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience, or
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to the above

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE / ABILITY:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Basic understanding of general ledger structure, month-end closing, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with cash management practices and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, large data sets).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with accounting software; experience with Sage is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $21.50 - $22.50 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to administer and coordinate all financial systems and processes including general ledgers, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and other financial systems and processes as required.
  • Perform routine compliance reporting to external agencies such as sales tax, highway use tax and other regulatory reporting as needed.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. Monitor and record cash disbursements, expenditures and receipts.
  • Maintain the company’s banking systems, daily cash management and reporting. Manage bank accounts, reconcile statements, and handle other banking activities.
  • Help ensure stores provide timely, accurate, and appropriate financial reporting and remittances, including invoices, cash reports, and all other relevant financial information and records
  • Provide regular reports on financial activities such as bank balances, cash flow reports, accounts payable and receivable reportsCoordinate and assist in year-end and month-end activities as required.
  • Provide assistance with daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable. Ensure the timely processing, posting, collection, and payment. Serve as a backup to other staff, to include the review and posting of payable invoices, sales reports and general ledger journal entry posting.
  • Serve as back-up to payroll.
