FINANCE COORDINATOR

Location: Australia | Full-time |Fixed term contract for two years

  • Provide flexible financial support during humanitarian responses to help deliver emergency relief effectively
  • Fulltime, 2 year fixed term opportunity
  • Ability to work remotely or from our warehouse in Pinkenba, Brisbane
  • Work with program managers and stakeholders to ensure financial controls, maintain transparency and ensure smooth financial operations
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate payment preparation and approval processes to ensure timely and compliant disbursements.
  • Support procurement activities in collaboration with the Contracts and Procurement Manager
  • Maintain up-to-date and organised financial records in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Lead the monthly financial forecasting process by collaborating with program managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting and cost projections.
  • Monitor and analyse financial variances to keep forecasts current and realistic throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Prepare and provide financial reports for program management, including Annual Reports, Annual Plans and Progress Reports.
  • Oversee quarterly, half-year and annual financial reporting on program expenditure versus budgets, ensuring transparency and accountability.
