JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Finance Data Analyst & Application Support Engineer V to provide technical and functional support for core financial applications. The role involves managing application lifecycles, ensuring service quality, troubleshooting issues, and supporting both new implementations and upgrades. This position requires strong ACH business acumen and functional knowledge of PEP+ and CICS.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field preferred
  • Proven track record in application support, ideally in financial services
  • Strong leadership, staff management, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to ensure delivery of high-quality user support in a structured, SLA-driven environment
Responsibilities
  • Implement new business applications by analyzing requirements, testing, and integrating into existing systems.
  • Deliver quality services within agreed SLAs, ensuring minimal disruption and timely service restoration.
  • Act as the final technical escalation point for critical application issues; perform structured root cause analysis.
  • Manage the incident and problem management lifecycle, from identification to resolution.
  • Conduct proactive problem trend analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.
  • Plan and manage system upgrades, new releases, and migration activities.
  • Develop and maintain application support standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Provide specialist advice to business users and IT support staff for application-related issues.
  • Assist in staff training, onboarding, and knowledge transfer within the Application Support team.
  • Partner with business users and cross-functional teams to resolve issues involving custom financial applications.
