JOB DESCRIPTION

Finance Director will be responsible for preparing and processing billing invoices, working directly with Project Mangers, reviewing proposals and contracts, preparing, updating budgets and reports, verifying and approving invoices as well as processing billing term changes, time transfers and project status updates. The Finance Director will also update Project Managers and clients, distribute monthly reports, prepare individual reports, handle all collections pertaining to assigned projects, perform reconciliations, create financials, and month end close as well as other miscellaneous accounting and administration duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience (experience in engineering/construction field a plus).
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and proven progressive experience
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.)
  • Commitment to detailed financial accounting and reporting
  • Understanding of data analysis
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Experience with accounting softwares and open to exploring and utilizing new accounting technologies
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Great communication, supervisory and interpersonal skills
  • Must have experience working with Deltek Accounting Software
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
