Required Technical Skills Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within multi-entity groups or holding structures, with proven exposure to consolidation, reporting, and strategic finance responsibilities. Advanced financial modelling in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and dashboard style reporting Budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for multi entity or group structures Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation, including revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, and intercompany eliminations Hands on experience with accounting and ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Odoo or similar, including report extraction and data reconciliation Use of business intelligence and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau to build automated dashboards and KPI reports Familiarity with UAE and Lebanon tax and regulatory environments, including VAT, corporate tax, and related compliance Cash flow analysis, liquidity planning, and financial structuring in support of Group CFO led decisions Audit and due diligence support, including data room preparation, reconciliations, and preparation of supporting schedules Your Mission Deliver accurate and timely budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across all entities. Produce high-quality financial models, dashboards, and analysis for Group CFO and leadership. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting in collaboration with the accounting team. Improve variance analysis clarity with well-supported action recommendations for Group CFO review. Develop and suggest automated tools and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and consistency. Provide timely monthly dashboards for W Group, W Ventures, and investment portfolio. Track and report portfolio investment performance with clear metrics and insights. Maintain strict confidentiality, compliance, and reliability in all reporting and family office duties. Job Scope The Finance Director will support the Group CFO by executing and managing day-to-day financial operations, reporting, analysis, and implementation of financial plans across multiple entities. Based in our Beirut office, the Finance Director will dedicate 60–70% of their time to W Group (Hypermedia, DXTA & AiOO), ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and management reporting, audit and tax compliance in alignment with the CFO’s strategic direction. The remaining 30–40% of their capacity will be allocated to W Ventures, by preparing consolidation, investment analyses, due diligence reports, financial models, and portfolio performance tracking, providing the Group CEO & CFO with the information needed to make informed investment decisions. Additionally, the Finance Director will assist with the Group CEO’s investment portfolio and family office, consolidating data, preparing confidential financial reports, and maintaining an accurate view of performance across assets, while the Group CFO retains overall oversight and decision-making authority. This role requires a strong executor, detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of running financial processes independently, while ensuring all critical decisions, strategies, and approvals remain under the Group CFO. Essential Soft Skills Key Responsibilities 1. W Group (Hypermedia, DXTA & AiOO) – Core Finance Responsibilities (Execution-focused, supporting CFO strategy) Execute budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting cycles in line with Group CFO guidance. Prepare financial models, consolidated forecasts, and trend analysis. Conduct variance analysis and prepare recommended corrective actions for Group CFO review. Work closely with department heads to gather data, validate assumptions, and implement budget structures. Prepare financial presentations, dashboards, and reports for senior management and Group CFO meetings. Support statutory audit and Tax return filings. Monitor actual vs budget performance and provide detailed financial analysis. Prepare monthly management reports summarizing financial performance. Coordinate with stakeholders and partners for required financial reporting. Support revenue reconciliations, audits, and compliance processes. (Advantage) Understand UAE media industry economics to enhance reporting quality. Assist in supporting cashflow structuring and financial engineering work as directed by Group CFO. 2. W Ventures – Investment Portfolio & Family Office Finance Responsibilities (Support role for investment decision-making) Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, valuation modelling, and scenario planning for potential investments. Prepare investment memos and financial reviews for Group CEO & CFO decision-making. Track and analyse portfolio company performance; prepare monthly and quarterly reporting. Support modelling of deal terms, cap tables, and exit scenarios. Provide insights and preliminary recommendations, while all final decisions remain with the Group CEO & CFO. Consolidate and track financial performance across all investment categories (real estate, PE, VC, securities, etc.). Prepare monthly and quarterly confidential financial reports for Group CEO & CFO review. Maintain documentation accuracy, reporting compliance, and organised financial records. Produce dashboards and investment summaries, ensuring timely visibility of portfolio performance. Prepare risk insights, market updates, and preliminary recommendations as requested by Group CFO. Assist the Group CEO and CFO in evaluating new investment opportunities, ensuring strict confidentiality.
