Role: Finance Director
Location: East Midlands
Salary: £120,000 - £150,000
Connect to Evolve is working with a fast growing consumer goods start-up who are searching for an experienced Finance Director to join them. This is a key role within the leadership team, for someone who wants to work in a fast moving environment, with plans to progress to CFO.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
• A proven Finance Director / CFO with a track record of scaling a fast-growing business.
• Previous experience in consumer goods or retail, with an excellent understanding of the market.
• Experience in a D2C/e-commerce/tech business.
• Experience with fundraising.
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• A strategic business partner who is not afraid to get hands-on.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Nottingham NG17 7A

• Developing and implementing a financial strategy supporting growth plans and cash flow forecasting.
• Lead on company FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering and KPI analysis.
• Manage and develop the finance function.
• Continue to evolve financial systems and controls.
• Renegotiate supplier contracts to improve working capital.
• The go-to for the senior leadership team, embedding driving growth, pricing, and operational strategies.
