DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Finance, Treasury & Investment Operations Department at EIA is a cornerstone of the organization’s strategic and operational framework. This department oversees corporate finance, budgeting, treasury management, and investment operations, ensuring alignment with EIA’s mission to maximize financial returns and contribute to the UAE’s economic priorities. By leveraging advanced financial systems and frameworks, the department plays a vital role in implementing the Strategy Refresh (SR) initiatives, managing risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
EDUCATION
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (e.g., MBA, CFA, CPA).
- Certifications such as CFA or CPA are emphasized for their critical role in compliance and strategic execution.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 12 years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in corporate finance, budgeting, and risk management within a sovereign wealth fund or investment-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and global financial best practices.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Mastery of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
- Comprehensive understanding of UAE-specific financial regulations and IFRS standards.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Expertise in integrating financial planning with investment strategies and portfolio management initiatives
