About flatfair The lettings industry hasn’t evolved fast enough. For tenants, it’s often opaque and financially restrictive. For agents and landlords, it can be complex, fragmented and inefficient. We believe renting should be built on transparency, choice and simplicity for everyone involved. Established in 2016, flatfair is re-imagining how the rental ecosystem works. We’ve built and scaled a product used by tens of thousands of tenants and partners across the UK — unlocking over £25m in upfront savings and providing stronger protection for landlords. We’re now entering our next phase: expanding our platform, launching new products and building the infrastructure required to support sustained, scalable growth. Our ambition is to become the technology layer powering a fairer, smarter lettings industry. This is a pivotal stage for the business. We have strong foundations and meaningful traction — but we’re still early enough that the right leaders will shape how we scale. For a Finance Director, that means real ownership: strengthening financial discipline, building robust governance and risk frameworks, and helping the business grow in a controlled and commercially resilient way. If you’re motivated by building in a growth-stage environment where your impact is visible and material, this is that opportunity. Your background & experience Professionally qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent). Senior finance leadership experience in a growth-stage business, ideally £5m–£20m turnover.
