Since 2004, Projuice has supplied premium, pre-portioned food and beverage concepts to thousands of outlets throughout the UK. We’re passionate about what we do and are proud to have won multiple awards in our competitive industry.
Despite the numerous global and market challenges faced, we’ve experienced continued growth over the years. This has led to the expansion of our own fleet of frozen delivery vans and drivers alongside delivery depot in Reading and a forthcoming Warrington depot that supports our head office in Exeter.
With an annual turnover of £5m, we are looking to secure and expand our market share through continued investment to capture more customers who can experience the personal service and premium products we have to offer.
The Role
Projuice are seeking a Finance Director who is a commercially minded individual to plan, manage and execute strategies within the day-to-day running of the business. This is a hands-on-role, that blends strategic input with day-to-day financial leadership.
You’ll be well supported by our friendly professional team who have been key to our success. Their experience and knowledge will be crucial in understanding the different aspects of the business as well as supporting the future plans and strategies that are being implemented.
Core Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility of financial aspects, reporting accurate and insightful data to support the running of the business.
- Be a trusted advisor focused on driving all aspects of performance
- Managing and overseeing the commercial and financial functions of the business whilst maintaining an overview of sales, marketing and operations to ensure a balance between all aspects and teams.
- Structuring, developing, guiding and supporting the Management Team and staff, whilst fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Develop key performance indicators to provide a clear understanding of drivers of growth.
- Assisting in driving business development initiatives to expand market presence and enhance profitability.
- Reviewing, analysing and establishing product pricing and margins.
- Challenging and reviewing stock forecasts and product costs whilst considering variables such as shipping trends, fruit harvests and seasonality.
- Management of company assets and overheads including depots and the company team structure.
- Reviewing and monitoring the IT systems and performance to ensure they are up to date, robust and fully supported.
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts, KPI analysis, budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee cashflow, statutory accounts, VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ideal Experience:
- A strong commercial, financial and operational background.
- Excellent communicator of financial detail.
- Identifying and managing risks within financial and operational functions of business.
- Formulating business and operational strategies and co-ordinating them through to completion.
- A proven success in both business and career to date.
- Advanced in Excel
