We are looking for a commercial and business-oriented Finance Director to join MSC – someone who is eager to make a difference and drive meaningful change. If you’re looking for a challenging role where you have the opportunity to make a real impact, this could be your next great career move.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a commercially driven and analytically strong Finance Director to lead MSC Sweden’s finance and business control function. This is a high-impact leadership role with a clear mandate: transform Finance from a traditional accounting unit into a proactive, insight-led business partner that drives profitability, optimizes cash flow, and supports strategic decision-making across the organization. You will lead a talented finance team of 5 direct reports in Gothenburg, and you have a dotted line to the finance team in Riga, which consists of six team members. You are responsible for the financial operating model follow-up monthly. You are a key member of MSC Sweden’s Management Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director in Sweden.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As Finance Director you have the overall responsibility for financial reporting, including setting budgets and forecasts follow-up and gap analysis.
