JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will be a direct report of the Institutional Client Group CFO and will be responsible for deposit liquidity analytics, strategic initiative forecasting and line of business executive summaries. The Institutional Client Group earns ~$6B in revenue per year by managing relationships with the bank’s middle market, large corporate, government and institutional clients. This role will work closely with the head of the business development and sales enablement team.
This role will provide financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, allocation of expenses, ad hoc analysis for business case development and custom financial analyses, peer group analysis and internal consulting for all levels of management. You will develop and maintain spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis as well as prepare a variety of management presentations. Researching and resolving data problems across financial reporting systems is a priority along with providing assistance in the development of financial applications. There will be heightened focus on preparing interest rate pricing and forecasting information for use in asset and liability management. Financial and statistical data developed is used by management in policy setting and decision making.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
  • 13 or more years of relevant financial management experience
  • 5 or more years of management experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools (excel, Essbase, Power BI, SQL and MS Access)
  • Considerable knowledge of accounting/finance principles
  • Advanced planning and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • MBA or CPA preferred
