As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a Finance Executive to join our team in Dungannon. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and detail-focused finance professional to play a key role in managing and analysing our financial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a finance role.
  • Good understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    Experience with Sage, Xero, online sales platforms such as Shopify, PayPal, Clearpay or Tik Tok whilst not essential, may be an advantage.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Finance Executive will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance activities, supporting management with accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the overall financial health of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial Reporting:
  • Assist with preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
  • Assist in forecasting financial performance and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Assist with the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
  • Tax Compliance:
  • Assist with compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of VAT returns.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Audits:
  • Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Implement recommendations from audit reports to enhance financial processes.
  • Financial Systems Management:
  • Utilise financial software to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in financial systems.
