Description
Cost Analysis & Inventory Control * Perform kitchen, bar, and store inventory checks; price, extend, and reconcile inventory with the General Ledger and store month closing related works. * Conduct bar stock-taking, par stock checks, and spot-check high-turnover items; investigate and report variances. * Verify costs for banquets, buffets, VIP requisitions, staff meals, and office checks. * Pre-cost recipes, update standard costing, and perform portion, butcher, and position control tests. * Prepare and distribute food and beverage cost reports to management and departments concerned. Accounts Payable & Financial Processing * Process GRWI, direct invoices, payable postings, and supplier payments with correct account coding. * Reconcile supplier statements, outstanding payables, accruals, and aging reports. * Perform regular bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations. * Prepare monthly journal vouchers within timelines. Closing, Compliance & Reporting * Financial report preparation.  * Support month-end and year-end closing, including inventory, payable, and reconciliation procedures. * Ensure compliance with VAT and tax law, rules and regulations, Accounting Standards (IFRS & BFRS), internal controls, and audit requirements. * Maintain proper filing of invoices, delivery notes, paid and unpaid vouchers, and system-generated reports. * Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper accountability and reconciliation. Qualifications & Experience * Minimum Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, and Finance. * Must have CA CC completed and preferably partly qualified.  * 2 years of experience in cost control, accounts payable and VAT & Tax field within a hotel or any other organization is preferable  * Working knowledge of VAT and Tax. * Preferable knowledge in accounting software. * Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and financial reporting.
