Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Comtech Steel Industries is seeking an experienced Finance Head to lead the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the steel fabrication, structural steel, or manufacturing industry, with proven experience managing finance in a production-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Monitor production costs, project costing, and profitability.
• Oversee inventory valuation, raw material costing, and stock reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, IFRS, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop financial controls, policies, and reporting systems.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and banking facilities.
• Support commercial and project teams with financial insights and contract reviews.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
• Holds professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA, demonstrating advanced financial acumen.
• Has a minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, with a significant portion within the heavy manufacturing or steel fabrication industry.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of cost accounting principles and their application to complex manufacturing operations.
