About the job As Finance Head SOCOPAC, you will operate in a highly dynamic and complex, multi-country environment, leading the extended Finance team across Finance Performance, GBS and Internal Control. Reporting to the EULA Finance Head, you will be fully accountable for the financial performance of the zone and act as a key strategic partner to the Zone General Manager and Business teams, both locally and at global level. The role covers countries with diverse operating models (including distributor-based markets and high-inflation contexts such as Argentina), requiring strong ownership of forecasting accuracy, contractual governance and cash management, while ensuring full compliance with global processes and standards. Main responsibilities Financial Performance & Business Partnering Be fully accountable for financial performance across all dimensions: Sales, Trade, Brand, OPEX and EBITDA. Act as the key finance partner to the Zone GM and Business teams, supporting strategic and operational decision-making. Provide a strong financial perspective in the evaluation of business opportunities, including innovation, RGM, pricing and portfolio optimization. Support the Zone GM in strategic decisions and overall business performance overview. Lead ad hoc strategic projects such as portfolio strategy and e-commerce initiatives. Performance Management & Reporting Monitor, drive and report business performance in close coordination with the Zone Leadership Team. Ensure availability of accurate, timely and relevant financial data, KPIs and insights for decision-making. Analyze monthly financial results and lead Performance Reviews, identifying gaps versus targets and action plans in collaboration with Finance and Business teams. Review P&L, cash flow and key KPIs (GTN, SIT, inventory, destructions) and drive validation meetings with business stakeholders. Forecasting, IBP & Financial Planning Lead rolling forecasts through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. Support business teams in understanding forecast rationale, ensure data consistency and challenge assumptions when required. Identify risks and opportunities and translate them into financial scenarios. Ensure strong integration between IBP and financial processes during forecast and budget cycles, aligned with global guidelines and ambitions. Drive scenario planning and stakeholder alignment within the zone and with global Opella Finance teams. Governance, Controls & Compliance Take full responsibility for business integrity, ensuring strict compliance with global processes, Sanofi policies, company code of conduct, IFRS, and all applicable laws and regulations. Ensure an effective internal control environment and timely, accurate financial reporting. Lead the finance organization – responsible for business partnering, key controls, business and strategic finance, accounting, credit management, transactional tax and treasury. Review IBP and financial KPIs (including Inventory and MAPE) and lead validation meetings within distributor models and Steering Committees. Leadership & Transformation Lead and develop the Finance organization, fostering strong business partnering capabilities and finance excellence. Lead and manage major change initiatives, including business development projects such as localization of production. Share and implement finance best practices, with a strong focus on simplification and continuous improvement. Animate and develop the local CHC Finance community, including talent planning and finance resource optimization. Minimum 10 years of senior experience in Pharma and/or FMCG environments. Solid experience in complex, multi-country or matrix organizations. Background in audit or consulting firms is a strong plus.
