FINANCE / HR ASSISTANT (RIPON, WI)

Diverse Options, Inc. is seeking an organized and detail-oriented person to handle a variety of accounting tasks including accounts payable. HR administrative and receptionist duties are a part of this role, as well. This is a full-time position.

JOB SUMMARY

The Finance/HR Assistant is responsible for the accurate processing of the company’s weekly accounts payables, monthly expense reimbursement, and assistance with the account receivables process. Additionally, this role performs administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s HR department, including administrative and reception duties at the front office.
Hours:40 hours/week; Monday-Friday between the work hours of 7:30 am – 4:00 pm; No weekends or evenings!

EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Associate’s Degree (minimum) in finance-related field OR
· 3+ years of business-related finance and bookkeeping experience.
· Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
· Detail oriented and task-driven.
· Proficiently skilled with basic computer applications including Microsoft Office products and payroll-related software or databases. Must have extensive experience using Microsoft Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets, including formulas and mail merge.
· Proficiently skilled with, or has the ability to quickly learn, payroll software.
· Proficiently skilled at active listening. Must be able to give full attention to what other people are saying, takes time to understand the points being made, and asks questions without interrupting at inappropriate times.
· Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, spreadsheets, and other office procedures and terminology.
· Basic knowledge of finance and/or accounting/bookkeeping principles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
· Ability to see details at close range, within a few feet.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
· Ability to push and pull up to 30 lbs.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

· At the time of hire, must submit to and pass a state background check.
