Description The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for structuring, securing, and managing financing solutions for customers purchasing commercial trucks and vocational equipment. This role works closely with customers, lenders, and the internal sales team to develop financing packages that align with the operational and financial needs of contractors, fleet operators, municipalities, and owner-operators. Unlike traditional retail automotive F&I, this role focuses on commercial lending, equipment financing, leasing structures, and long-term fleet relationships. The F&I Manager ensures transactions are properly structured, compliant, and efficiently funded while supporting the dealership’s sales objectives. Commercial Financing Structure financing packages for Class 6–8 trucks and vocational equipment including hydrovacs, dump trucks, vacuum trucks, service trucks, and other specialized equipment. Work with banks, captive lenders, and independent finance companies to secure approvals and competitive terms. Submit and manage credit applications, documentation, and funding packages. Coordinate financing for both new and used commercial units. Leasing & Equipment Finance Structure and present commercial financing options including: Equipment Finance Agreements (EFA) TRAC leases Fair Market Value (FMV) leases Municipal and government financing Guide customers through payment structures, tax advantages, and equipment financing strategies. Customer Consultation Work directly with business owners, fleet managers, and municipal buyers to understand their operational and financial needs. Present financing and protection options clearly and professionally. Help customers structure payments around cash flow, seasonal revenue, or fleet expansion plans. Protection Products Offer and administer protection products such as: Extended engine and drivetrain warranties Equipment service contracts GAP coverage (where applicable) Maintenance programs Ensure customers understand the operational and financial value of protection products. Sales Team Support Work closely with truck sales professionals to structure deals that meet customer budgets while maintaining dealership profitability. Provide guidance on financing programs, lender requirements, and deal structuring. Assist with large fleet transactions and multi-unit deals. Lender Relationships Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial lenders and leasing companies. Stay current on lender programs, rate changes, and underwriting requirements. Negotiate competitive terms for customers and the dealership. Compliance & Documentation Ensure all transactions comply with federal, state, and lender requirements. Maintain complete and accurate deal documentation. Manage funding packages and ensure timely deal funding. Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Experience in commercial truck sales, heavy equipment sales, equipment financing, or dealership F&I. Strong understanding of commercial lending and leasing structures. Ability to read and analyze business financial statements and credit profiles. Strong communication and negotiation skills. High attention to detail and strong documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple deals and timelines simultaneously. Valid driver's license and MVR in good standing. Ability to work any shift if needed. Ability to successfully complete a general abilities assessment. Ability to pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen. Preferred Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Background in Class 6–8 truck or vocational equipment sales. Familiarity with hydrovac, construction, or infrastructure equipment markets. Existing relationships with commercial lenders and leasing companies. Experience structuring fleet and multi-unit transactions.
