This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian! Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the intern will: Support the FP&A team in improving operating expense controlling by analyzing costs and identifying optimization opportunities. Collaborate with Accounts Payable to collect invoices, assess charge allocations, and drive accurate month-end accruals. Assist in financial analysis to inform decisions on existing store performance and new store openings. Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities across various expense categories. Prepare reports and dashboards to track expense trends, accruals, and key financial metrics. Support ad-hoc financial projects and provide insights for leadership presentations. Perform other duties as required or assigned. This internship runs from June – August. The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from approximately 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate. Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with financial modeling. Basic knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and accrual accounting principles. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with various teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
