Role Overview: The position is based within the Finance department, where you will assist with daily operations and contribute to the optimisation of business processes at IMI Adaptas. This role provides valuable exposure to the Finance team's essential function in managing a manufacturing enterprise and improving operational results. In addition, you will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure that the organisation operates as efficiently as possible. Supervision and Mentorship The intern will receive mentorship, regular check-ins, and development opportunities throughout the internship Work Environment: Onsite Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Finance team to enhance business processes, increasing confidence in site financial performance. Support the Finance team in various activities across the finance function to gain a practical understanding of how financial processes relate to business outcomes. With thorough oversight, oversee the implementation of a process improvement project from initiation through execution. Learning Objectives/What You Will Gain Gain practical insight into how financial controls direct business operations. Learn a systematic method for understanding and enhancing processes. Develop hands-on experience with essential systems (such as ERP or Microsoft platforms) to support a finance career in manufacturing. Education and Experience Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or related field Strong interest in project management and process development. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Ability to work independently and within a team. Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking. A basic understanding of how an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system operates is preferred. Familiarity with database structures or data visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, is also preferred.
