Description Position Summary: The Finance Intern will support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role assists with data analysis, reporting, modeling, and process improvement to drive operational and financial insights across the business. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-orientated, and eager to learn core commercial and manufacturing finance processes. The intern will work closely with the FP&A Manager to streamline current tasks, enhance data accuracy, and deliver actionable information to cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Prepare preliminary versions of monthly and quarterly financial reports ensuring clean, pre-structured data. Formalize newly launched, high-visibility EPM software reporting and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring finance and accounting workflows that will be published to CQ internal compliance system. Extract, reconcile, and validate data from ERP, Business Intelligence and EPM systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC/NAV, Power BI) to ensure accurate input for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Update annual budget and quarterly forecast templates with the latest actuals, drivers, and assumptions enabling better planning of Revenue, Pricing, Headcount, Capital Expenditures, and Operational Expenses. Maintain, improve, and build new financial models (ROI, make-vs-buy, and low and negative margin analysis) with clearly organized assumptions, inputs, and outputs. Requirements Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic modeling) Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on routine tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience: Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC/NAV, SAP, Oracle) Prior internship or project experience involving data analysis or financial modeling Familiarity with financial statements, commercial activities and manufacturing concepts Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
