Description
Access Services is seeking a hardworking Intern to join our Finance team in Fort Washington, PA for the Summer and Fall of 2026. We are looking for 20-40 hours per week during this internship period. The intern should be pursuing an Associate's degree related to Finance. Learning Outcomes: The intern will work with the finance team on daily tasks such as billing entries, accounts payable entries. The intern will learn how A/R (Accounts Received) and A/P (Accounts Payable) collaborate and work with programs to successfully support the agency. The intern will learn the audit process for our non-profit. The intern will receive one-on-one supervision with the Director of Finance, and mentorship by the A/P and A/R leadership. Internship Hours The intern would work 20-25 hours per week. The available internship hours are Monday-Friday 9:30am-3:30pm, with flexibility. The specific internship hours will be determined between the supervisor and intern, prior to the internship start date. Qualifications: Student must be in school for Finance/Business related degree. Willingness to work with both A/R and A/P team Willingness to learn from the finance team as a whole. Ability to navigate Microsoft applications. Ability to communicate by email with professionalism and accuracy. Willingness to learn and absorb information from the team; ability to work smoothly with all team members. Demonstrate a passion for service, and willingness to assist in all areas where the finance team needs support, including filing. Required Clearances, to be completed before first day of internship, including: PA Criminal Clearance Child Abuse Clearance Physical * Detailed instructions and guidance regarding the clearance process will be provided directly by Human Resources upon selection. * Essential Working Conditions/Physical Demands Work in a standard office environment. lift Utilize desktop computer equipment daily. Able to lift or move items associated with sedentary work and light work (exert up to 20 lbs.)
