The Opportunity We are seeking a strategic Finance Lead to drive project finances and provide financial support across two major projects within our Utilities division in Western Australia. Based in our Rivervale office, with occasional site travel, this role will ensure that our projects receive the necessary financial support to maximise contract outcomes and secure a strong financial position at project completion. Key Responsibilities: Partnering with the Project Manager and Commercial team to analyse financial and project information, identifying opportunities/risks and recommending improvements. Analysing costs, pricing, variable contributions, margin results and project actual performance. Plan, establish and direct the project financial administrative activities and operational procedures to ensure profits are protected. Preparation of contract management reports including budget and forecasts, utilisation reports, cash flow forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis. Streamline data analysis for the business. Lead, train and mentor more junior finance staff. Requirements to be successful: Degree in Commerce or Accounting with 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry. CA/CPA qualified (desirable). Experience with large ERP systems and strong Excel skills. Strong experience with forecasting, tracking costs and delivery of large projects.
