REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting/finance or related field of study.
  • At least 8+ years of demonstrated experience in the financial field, accounting, or engineering roles (at least 2 specifically in Finance), preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of integrated cost accounting systems and information systems.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
  • Fully Bilingual English/Spanish required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of information systems (SAP preferred).
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Capable of hiring, developing and leading a team.
    Shift: this position works on Administrative shift (8am-5pm), and at least 4 days a week on site.
Responsibilities
  • Operational business support: Supervises the day to day financial support to Production Manager, Supervisors and other operations personnel. Supports operational managers in the monetary spending overhead analysis and budget control; audit cycle count program to assure its effectiveness and timely report its results to management.
  • Supervise all the department employees and ascertain adherence to Human Resources policies and regulations, including development of department and individual goals and activities, performance evaluations, training and coaching; Advise staff managers on financial and non-financial activities that impact, complement or improve the facility operations performance.
  • Closing – Supervises the execution of the monthly general ledger close process for its respective business units, including spending accruals.
  • Reporting – Supervises the analysis of financial results, verifying its reasonableness, the preparation of periodic manufacturing performance reports to management including product cost by area and coordinates and / or prepares special ad hoc information requests for local, division or corporate management.
  • Budgets / Forecasting – Leads and/or supervises the annual manufacturing budget plan (material, labor & overhead); coordinates and summarizes the necessary data for the timely preparation of quarterly forecasts, Strategic plan and other similar analyses.
  • Product costing – Supervises the development of standard product costing, after proper verification of routings, bills of materials and components costs, including its review for reasonableness; and the preparation of cost estimates as required.
  • Supervises and monitors results of continuous improvement and cost reduction projects Supervises all finance activities for product transfers ensuring no impact to critical path.
