The position
As Finance Manager, you report to and serve as a key sparring partner for the Managing Director and the other Management Team members. You play a vital role in the execution and control of the company's financial performance. You not only identify issues but also contribute in a solution-oriented manner. You actively lead the finance department and focus, among other things, on further optimizing financial and administrative processes, reporting, and systems, as well as expanding control activities.
Important tasks and responsibilities are:
- Preparation of periodic financial and management reports, the annual accounts, and the annual report.
- Coordinating and monitoring the budget/budget cycle.
- Further development and expansion of the control function.
- Optimizing insight into cost structures and the allocation and control of underlying costs.
- Performing business economic and financial analyses (including cost and investment analyses and project calculations).
- Making an active contribution to financial awareness and financial discipline within the company.
- Managing liquidity and tax returns.
- Initiating, coordinating, and executing various (ad-hoc) projects.
- Maintaining various internal and external contacts (including with the accountant and bank).

What are you bringing?
- You have at least a relevant completed HBO (higher professional) education.
- You have at least 10 years of work experience, of which several years in an independent and/or managerial financial position.
- You are a team player and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- You have experience with the capabilities of IT and a solid knowledge of financial software packages.
- You command respect through both behavior and craftsmanship; a balanced and solid professional.
- You have an open communication style and know how to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
- You combine overview and insight with an eye for detail and have a healthy hands-on mentality.
- You are flexible and decisive, and know how to quickly grasp matters.
- You get things done and know how to persuade and win trust.
