Job Introduction

On behalf of a rapidly growing, internationally active family business, we are currently seeking a Finance Manager (m/f/d) for their headquarters in the Dutch-German border region, who will gradually develop into the role of Head of Finance.

In this responsible key position, you will assume comprehensive management of the finance department and act as a close sparring partner to the management team. You will combine operational accounting activities with strategic development and make a significant contribution to the professionalization and scaling of the finance organization.

Your potential tasks:

As Finance Manager (m/f/d), you will have overall responsibility for all finance-related matters.

Your main tasks include:

• Overall responsibility for the financial area
• Ensuring the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as meaningful reporting to management.
• Responsibility for all accounting processes (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset accounting) as well as continuous optimization and digitization of processes.
• Management of budget planning, forecasts and liquidity planning, as well as analysis of key business figures to derive sound decision-making bases.
• Close collaboration with management as a strategic sparring partner in financial matters.
• Interface function to auditors, tax advisors, banks and other external stakeholders

What you bring to the table:

You have sound experience in finance and accounting and impress with a hands-on mentality, entrepreneurial thinking, and excellent communication skills.

In addition, you possess the following qualifications:

• Completed studies in business administration with a focus on finance, controlling or accounting
• Several years of professional experience in the financial sector, ideally in a dynamic, growth-oriented company
• Strong analytical skills as well as a high degree of initiative and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Experience in optimizing and digitizing financial processes is an advantage.
• Good English skills, both spoken and written.
