About the Job Transformer Robotics is seeking a hands-on, operationally-minded Finance Manager to lead our financial operations. As we continue to scale our 1,200-person facility, we are looking for a leader to professionalize our cost control, secure our cash flow, and act as a strategic partner to the BOD. Note: This is a full-time, permanent leadership role. The successful candidate will work alongside the current CFO during a comprehensive 5-month transition period before taking full ownership of financial operations Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Management & Strategy Oversee the daily operations of the Finance & Accounting department. Manage company cash flow, forecasting, and liquidity to ensure operational stability (payroll, material purchasing). Prepare and present monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) to the BOD with clear commentary on factory performance. Act as the primary liaison with banks, auditors, and tax authorities. 2. Manufacturing Cost Control (Critical Focus) BOM Accuracy: Audit Bill of Materials (BOM) against actual production to identify material wastage and efficiency gaps. Variance Analysis: Track Standard Cost vs. Actual Cost. Investigate significant variances in material usage (wood, fabric, hardware) or labor hours. Pricing Strategy: Provide accurate product costing data to the Sales team to ensure all new product quotations meet margin targets. 3. Inventory & Supply Chain Oversight While the Supply Chain team executes purchasing, the Finance Manager acts as the controller: Inventory Control: Lead monthly stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with the system. Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete stock. Purchase Approval: Review and approve Purchase Orders (POs) based on budget availability and cash flow scheduling. Supplier Payments: Manage the accounts payable cycle to maintain good supplier relationships while optimizing working capital. 4. Compliance & Internal Control Ensure full compliance with Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations (CIT, VAT, FCT, PIT). Manage the VAT refund process for export goods (crucial for cash flow). Strengthen internal controls to prevent leakage, fraud, or asset misappropriation within the factory. Job Requirements Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Finance/Accounting, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment (Furniture, Wood, preferred). Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Cost Accounting (Job costing / Process costing). Strong knowledge of Vietnam Tax Law and VAS. Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo) Language: Professional proficiency in English (for BOD reporting).
