Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Financial Controller for our client in Hamm, starting immediately, on a permanent, direct placement basis.

Your tasks

: - Responsibility for financial activities at the location, including month-end closing, budgeting, and forecasting

- Preparation of regular financial reports, analysis of variances, and derivation of recommendations for action

- Close collaboration with the site management to increase operational performance and cost efficiency

- Ensuring internal financial controls and monitoring accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and payroll

- Managing liquidity, including 13-week liquidity planning, as well as monitoring investments and CAPEX valuations

- Collaboration with the Group Cost Accountant on inventory valuation, inventory control, and profitability analyses

- Leading and developing the finance team, as well as supporting audits and collaborating with external auditors

- Continuous optimization of financial processes and systems

What you bring:

- Completed studies in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or a comparable

qualification Solid knowledge of operational finance and cost accounting

- Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

- Fluent English
