Our client is a market leader in their industry, growing fast and building the finance function to match. They're after a Finance Manager who wants to own the numbers end to end, not just report them.

This is a newly created, permanent role. You'll take full ownership of the finance function from day one, with a genuine and planned pathway to step up into the CFO seat as the business continues to scale.

What you'll do

Own the month-end close and produce accurate, timely monthly reporting packs

Prepare P&Ls and unit economics across the business, with clear variance analysis leadership can act on

Own the annual budget, rolling forecasts and cash flow management

Take ownership of the general ledger and chart of accounts, and lead a bookkeeper across AP, AR, payroll and reconciliations

Manage GST/BAS and coordinate with external accountants on tax and year end

Build and improve the systems and processes that will let finance scale with the business

What you'll bring

An active CA or CPA qualification

3 to 5 years' experience at a leading accounting firm, Big 4 or strong mid-tier

Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills

Experience in a multi-site business (hospitality or retail highly regarded)

Commercial curiosity: you want to understand what's driving the numbers, not just report them
