Anderson Knight are delighted to be representing our client for the senior appointment of a Finance Manager based out of their Scottish Head Office in Glasgow.
You will have responsibility for the full finance function ensuring budgeting, controlling and reporting into the group finance function. You will play a key role in identifying and driving change initiatives, constantly looking to drive innovation and process improvements.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Advise and challenge the business with timely and proactive analyses, assessment of variances vs budget-forecast with financial impacts and risks.
  • Provide management information to other departments, informing on any unexpected issues impacting the financial performance of the site and proposing / implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead and execute the site’s financial month-end and year-end closings (determining and analysing manufacturing variances).
  • Prepare, lead and execute the site’s forecast and budgets.
  • Lead, motivate and develop staff, ensure optimal training across the team.
  • Lead implementation of new reporting tools to ensure more timely, accurate and transparent reporting.
