Anderson Knight are delighted to be representing our global client in the critical appointment of a Finance Manager, joining an already established and successful Finance operation.
The Finance Manager will lead and support the Finance team, drive operational efficiency, and enhance the department’s analytical capability—particularly around business profitability. This is a hands-on role with direct involvement in financial reporting, month-end processes and team development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and develop a small finance team
• Foster a deeper understanding of finance processes by explaining the ‘why’ behind tasks, not just the ‘how’
• Oversee financial reporting for multiple entities
• Month-end tasks
• Preparation of management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accurate P&L reporting
• Present financial reports and ad hoc numbers monthly to senior leadership team
• Work closely with business units and stakeholders to achieve financial objectives (e.g. job turnaround times, branch financial admin)
• Identify and implement improvements to drive process efficiency
• Perform hands-on accounting tasks, including journal postings

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, WE ARE SEEKING A CANDIDATE:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ICAS).
• Practical knowledge of IFRS
• Audit background
• Demonstratable experience in leading teams small teams
• Able to handle multiple deadlines without compromise of delivery.
