Job Description PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Improve Connectivity & Insights: Strengthen collaboration among APAC controllers and deliver data-driven insights. Build Control & Governance: Develop and maintain robust control frameworks and governance structures. Drive risk assessments, manage the risk register, and oversee control-related initiatives. Provide expert guidance on operational risk topics Elevate Risk Culture: Foster a proactive, resilient operational risk mindset across APAC. Champion RCM Program: Ensure compliance with the CFO Group’s Regulatory Compliance Management standards in APAC. GL reconciliation and attestation process management Hosting meetings (controllers meeting, APAC Attestation Committee, month-end close calls) Maintaining APAC HUB connect site and sharepoint Review and enhance APAC financial submissions: Oversee and critically evaluate all regional financial submissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with RBC’s financial standards. Provide actionable insights to improve submission quality and relevance. Drive continuous improvement: Identify gaps in APAC financial submissions and implement process enhancements to elevate the quality and timeliness of reporting. Assist Associate Director, Regional HUB APAC to partner with APAC Controllers, Head of Finance, BTG/FCM APAC; proactively drive the Finance change agenda for the region.
