Description

We are looking for someone to become our new Finance Manager to manage our Accounts Department and play an active part in our Senior Management Team at Ascendit Lifts in Horley, Surrey. In this role you can put your excellent positive can-do attitude, bookkeeping and administration skills to good use in our supportive family business.

Do you have?

  • A broad experience of Sage Line 50 and experience of working with CRM systems
  • A recognised book-keeping qualification, or at least 5 years experience in an accounts role that includes management of CIS and the VAT reverse charge
  • Strong administrative experience and understanding of processes
  • Good skills in use of computers and range of software packages such as Microsoft Word & strong skillset in Excel
  • Eye for detail & accuracy
  • Committed & conscientious approach to work
  • Discrete & sensitive, as dealing with some confidential information
  • A good understanding of cashflow
  • A confident, empathetic, polite, and personable manner with a clear style of communication

Responsibilities will include; purchase ledger & Sales ledger, HMRC submissions including PAYE, CIS, VAT, Company credit card, expenses, private mileage, fuel invoices, petty cash, credit control, month & year end management reports, double entry book-keeping and cashflow management.

  • Monday to Friday 08.30am to 5:00pm or 09.00 to 5.30pm at our office in Horley, Surrey, RH6 9GA
